Le groupe punk rock The Offspring a annoncé sa participation au jeu vidéo de type MMO (jeu en ligne massivement multijoueur) World of Tanks, avec une performance dans le jeu à partir de demain, mercredi 18 septembre.

Le free-to-play World of Tanks est un jeu au thème militaire lancé en 2010. Il est consacré aux "combats de tanks du milieu du 20ème siècle" d'après le site officiel du développeur, Wargaming : 

"Nous sommes excités d'annoncer que @worldoftanks nous a invité à jouer dans leur jeu. A partir du 18 septembre vous pourrez nous rejoindre sur une scène virtuelle dans #WorldofTanks. Le jeu n'a jamais vu quelque chose comme ça auparavant, alors nous sommes excités d'être les premiers".
 

Ce n'est pas la 1ère fois qu'un groupe est invité à jouer au sein d'un jeu vidéo, le mois dernier c'était en effet Korn qui était invité à propos un mini-concert au sein des jeux AdventureQuest3D et AQ Worlds.
